Full Job Description
Responsible for the execution of all Scaffolding works during mobilisation of barges/ vessels/cargo barge, Base operations and during offshore campaigns.
Evaluate the site to determine the appropriate type and the amount of scaffolding needed, considering load-bearing requirements, access points etc.
Identify potential hazards or obstacles that might affect scaffolding installation
Demonstrate work methods to others and subordinate craftsmen/workers who do not have the skill or experience to perform. Make sketches for instructional purposes
Ensure good housekeeping of the site so that it is safe for both his crew and others needing access to it.
Select and inspect scaffolding materials and ensure they are in good condition.
Ensure assembly of scaffolding components as per approved plan and to the highest standards of scaffolding practices
Ensure all working permits are available before any work commences
Ensure that scaff tag systems are implemented .
Compliance in accordance with section/Company policies & procedures, Policy of Integrity & Code of Conduct & HSE standards.
Educational Qualifications & Certifications
Candidate shall have a secondary school certificate (class 10) or a diploma.
Candidate shall have a minimum of 5 years of offshore experience as a Scaffolder
